She earned her M.B.B.CH from Ain Shams University in 2004 and a Master’s degree in Dermatology from Suez Canal University in 2013. Dr. Rasha has worked in leading hospitals and aesthetic centers, gaining extensive experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her expertise includes injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skin rejuvenation procedures. Currently practicing in Abu Dhabi, she is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while staying updated through continuous professional development and international conferences. Then moved to Britain where after extensive clinical and academic experience acquired postgraduate degrees in General Internal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition • Held an accredited Clinical Lecturer post at Birmingham University, 1995 –1998 and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and Honorary Consultant Physician 1999-2005. • Currently a Professor of Medicine, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. • Research interest: My research program is on interactions between nutrition, disease and ageing and the role of nutrition in prevention and treatment of disease, • Conducted a number of externally funded clinical trials, lectured & published widely on this subject including recent 2 chapters, one in the International textbook of Human Nutrition, Churchill Livingstone, Elsevier and a textbook on the role Nutrition in treatment & prevention of Stroke published by Blackwell Publishing, Oxford. Included among the World top 2% Scientists by Stanford University for career and single year paper citation for the years 2020, 2021 2022, 2023.
