Education & Training - Medical Degree: Flinders University of South Australia, Adelaide - Fellowship: Endocrinology at Barwon Health, Victoria - PhD: University of Melbourne, focused on thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy in autoimmune hyperthyroidism Clinical Interests - Thyroid Cancer epidemiology, diagnosis and management - Thyroid disorders: nodular thyroid disease, autoimmune thyroid disease, and thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy - In-office thyroid ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and thyroid ablation MDS Orthodontics, from Government Dental College, Trivandrum .(2000-2003) Worked as specialist orthodontist for 4 years in India and as Senior lecturer in Orthodontics at Rajas Dental College from 2005-2007. Started practicing in UAE since September 2007. Currently working as specialist orthodontist at AlAin Dental Centre, AlAin, since Sept 2014 Joined the SEHA Orthodontic Residency program as core faculty since its inception in 2019 Currently serving as the program director of the program since Oct 2023 Underwent training in Biomechanics in University of Aarhus, 2012, and Biomechanics Summer School, Arezzo, Italy,2023, under professors Birte Melsen and Giorgio Fiorelli Current interests in orthodontics include Adult orthodontics with the application of segmental mechanics, Surgical orthodontics, Cleft lip and palate treatment, use of TADs in orthodontic treatment for expanding the envelope of orthodontic treatment.
