He began his career at Damascus Hospital, where he worked for one year. From 2000 to 2006, he served with the Saudi Red Crescent Society in Riyadh as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Riyadh Branch. During this time, he was also actively involved as a faculty member in the paramedics training program. Between 2006 and 2010, Dr. Anka worked at the International Medical Center in Jeddah as an Assistant Consultant in the Emergency Department. In October 2010, he joined Tawam Hospital in the UAE, where he currently serves as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. He also holds a similar position at STMC. In addition, he is a core faculty member in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Tawam Hospital. Dr. Omar Al Ali , MD, is an Allergy Specialist in Abu Dhabi practicing within the Allergy Treatment Clinic at NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City. As a highly qualified Consultant Allergist in Abu Dhabi, he brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of allergic conditions. Recognized as a leading Allergy and Immunology Doctor in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Omar offers comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. Consultant Allergist NMC Royal Hospital Abu Dhabi, UAE Dr. Omar Al Ali Dr. Rasha Abbas is a UK- trained Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead with over 20 years of experience in the field of psychiatry. She completed her psychiatric basic training in London and her higher training in Scotland. She was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrist (FRCPsych). Dr Rasha has been active in setting up and leading multidisciplinary services and mental health initiatives in Abu Dhabi. Prior to relocating to UAE, she worked as substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS, UK. She has held multiple posts in medical education including the position of an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Dundee University, Scotland, UK. Dr. Rasha’s clinical experience includes diagnosing and treating various mental illness such as mood and affective disorder, OCD, psychosis and substance abuse disorders. One of her clinical areas of interest is women’s mental health including perinatal psychiatry. Dr. Rasha is an active speaker and a passionate educator, and she regularly gives talks and runs workshops on mental health topics both within the medical community and to the public.
