He has concurrent assignments in this Institution which include Director of Ambulatory Care Services and Chairman of Evidence Based Practice Committee. Dr. Alkhenizan is listed in the World's Top 2% most-cited scientists 2024 by Stanford University.

Dr. Alkhenizan career focused in the fields of Family Medicine with a special interest in the fields of Medical Law, Chronic Diseases, Evidence Based Practice, Research, and Healthcare Policy and Management.

For his postgraduate training, Dr. Alkhenizan completed the Family and Community Medicine Program, The Canadian College of Family Medicine Fellowship in Geriatrics, The American Board in Hospice and Palliative Care and the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As the Chairman of the Family & Community Medicine Department at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh, Prof. Jamal has been instrumental in advancing digital health initiatives in Saudi Arabia and across the Gulf region. His work spans the development of the Saudi Health Informatics Competency Framework, contributions to national telemedicine guidelines, and leadership in multiple transformative digital health projects.

Prof. Jamal is also the Founding Co-Chair of ZIMAM, a Geneva-based initiative dedicated to enhancing digital health competencies for healthcare professionals globally. Recognized internationally, he has been named a HIMSS Future50 Healthcare IT Leader and holds fellowships with the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (FIAHSI). Dr. Avik Nath

Dr. Avik Nath received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2004 and was awarded Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2006, and a Certificate of Added Competence in Emergency Medicine in 2007. Dr. Nath was awarded Fellowship in the College in 2019.

Dr. Nath is a family physician with a focused practice in emergency medicine. Working in the emergency department he has seen first-hand the gaps in the health care system, including lack of access to primary care and how those gaps affect the most vulnerable people.

Based in Ottawa, Dr. Nath is a mid-career practising physician who has worked in tertiary and community settings throughout Ontario. He is the current Chair of the Family Medicine Emergency Medicine Program Directors Group, Chair of the Ottawa Hospital Emergency Physician Associates, program director of the CCFPEM Program at the University of Ottawa, and the CFPC's family physician emergency medicine representative on the Specialty Committee in Emergency Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also an Associate professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Nath works collaboratively to build consensus and implement change. Dr. Nath received the Department of Family Medicine's Mentorship Award, which is presented annually to a University of Ottawa faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in mentorship toward learners and faculty members. He has received numerous teaching awards through the Department of Emergency Medicine. He has been an expert member of the CFPC Residency Accreditation Committee and has spoken at a variety of conferences and workshops throughout his 15 years of experience. Dr. Nath lives in Ottawa with his wife and daughter.

Professor Eiad A. AlFaris is a Professor of Family Medicine, member of the Royal College of General practitioners (London) since 1989. He was the chair of the examination committee of the Saudi board of family medicine and the Arab board of family medicine. He is the supervisor of the King Saud University (KSU) Chair for Medical Education. He had completed a Master degree in Medical Education (MMed) from the University of Dundee. He has contributed substantially to the development of Medical Education in Saudi Arabia, has published around seventy articles in national and international journals. He was an Associate Director of Faculty Development Program of the KSU university hospitals. He was Adviser to the Saudi Commission of health specialties 1998- 2009. He had run various workshops for the national and international symposia, the Saudi Commission for health Specialties and KSU.

Dr. Jeffrey Landreville is a clinician-educator focusing on postgraduate medical education with a special interest in competency-based medical education and coaching.

He is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Medicine, attending physician at the Ottawa Hospital and clinician investigator with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. He currently serves as the Program Director for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Emergency Medicine residency program at the University of Ottawa. His research interests include observation, entrustment and coaching within competency-based medical education systems.

Born in Ottawa, Canada, Dr. Landreville obtained his MD from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University and an FRCPC in Emergency Medicine at the University of Ottawa during which he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Landreville completed a fellowship in medical education through the Department of Innovation in Medical Education at the University of Ottawa and a Master’s in Medical Education through the University of Dundee, Scotland. Is a consultant and chief of neurology division of STMC and Tawam hospital. After getting is MBBCH from Assiut university and has a 4-year Residency of neurology and psychiatry Assiut university hospital 1999-2003 ended by getting his masterdegree. He had his training in one of the biggest neurology divisions in Egypt and middle east when the neurology department had more than 120 beds during his training and had attached neurophysiology lab and all dictated neuroimaging service were available. And he completed his Medical Doctorate degree from Al Azahar university in 2010 (Role if inflammatory markers in Acute ischemic stroke when he was looking for the role of interleukins and neopterin in acute ischemic stroke pathogenesis). He joined Al Ain hospital in 2011 when he was a member of the stroke program who led the stroke service in Al Ain service to be one of the most important stroke centers in UAE, (Al Ain stroke unite is the first stroke unit founded in all over UAE in November 2007).

Dr Ali was a member of the stroke team who getting the first Stroke international certification in Abu Dhabi in 2016 when,Al Ain stroke unit was certified by German Stroke association as a comprehensive stroke unit and then followed by JCIA.

Dr Ali Joined Tawam hospital in the last quarter of 2017 when he continued his journey of success and attributed to the success of neurology division.

He established the first dictated botox clinics in all SEHA facilities and currently he had 2 dictated botox clinic weekly which is the busiest therapeutic botox clinic in UAE currently.

He developed the stroke program with the team after Al Ain hospital was announced as a covid center in 2020. He became a chief of service in 2021 and he developed the stroke program which accredited as comprehensive stroke center from American heart association (AHA) in December 2023.

Dr Ali Hassan initiated and conducted the first Tawam international neurology conference in 2023. He is a speaker and chairpersons in many of the local and regional conferences in Gulf.

Dr Hassan is a trainer in many local and regional conferences for botox injections and he led many workshops for training other neurologist in the region.

Dr Alkoteesh is a pioneer interventional radiologist with expertise in providing unique IR services that made Tawam hospital /SEHA the hub and referral center in the UAE and GCC. He is one of the founders of the interventional Radiology services in UAE since 2007, and the first DOH licensed Interventional Radiologist in Abu Dhabi ;and for that they call him the God Father of Interventional Radiology in Abu Dhabi Emirates. His wealth of knowledge and unique skills in applying advanced IR techniques by performing over 75,000 procedures in the span of his 16 years of SEHA journey are exemplary of dedication and commitment. To mention few of IR clinical sophisticated procedures are TIPS, acute stroke interventions; penile venous leak embolization; prostate artery embolization, Complex Arterial and venous interventions, Uterine arteries embolization procedures to treat Fibroids and post-Partum Bleeding; liver cancer Radioembolization SIRT and Chemoembolization TACE. He has recently introduced new state-of-the-art IR procedures to treat benign and malignant thyroid Tumours by thermal ablation in addition haemorrhoids new treatment by arterial embolization.

SEHA Career Journey over 16 years Dr. Alkoteesh joined the SKMC Abu Dhabi as the Chief of Interventional Radiology in 2007 where he served the capital of UAE solo for nearly two years , then moved to Al Ain City in 2010 in order to establish the first Interventional Radiology service at Al Ain Hospital in support of the clinical needs of Al Ain Community. He also was able to build one of the busiest Interventional Radiology unit in the region in support of acute and elective medical care.

He establishing the first radiology residency-training program in Abu Dhabi in 2009 to train junior Emiratis doctors to become the future radiologists then when he moved to Alain he also became the Radiology residency program director at Tawam in 2012 during the intergartion.

After the regional integration between Tawam and Al Ain Hospitals, he became the official Chairman of Radiology for both hospitals to manage the largest Radiology Department in the UAE with more than 30 Radiologists to cover both hospitals in the region at a difficult time during the COVIDE19 Pandemic.

His Academic Contributions Dr Alkoteesh was promoted to the ranke of professor in Interventional Radiology at the UAE University college of medicine and health science, for his fruitful efforts in introducing the Interventional Radiology modules for the medical students in order to promote and attract undergraduates for future career as a rare subspecialty on demand.

Dr Alkoteesh is the Professor of Interventional Radiology to reach this ranke in the UAE and this is no surprise giving his academic background and involvement heavily in teaching of undergradute and post graduate Medical and surgical residents in SEHA/Abu Dhabi since 2007.

In 2023 he was granted the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology society PAIRS the PAIRS fellowship FPAIRS for his contribution in establishing and promotion Interventional Radiology supspeciality in the UAE and Arab World.

Dr Alkoteesh has more than 75 scintific publications under his belt and he has speaker at more than 150 National and international conferences over the last 10 years.

Fierce fight against COVID19 – Dr Alkoteesh and the Radiology Team
Since the start of COVID 19 pandemic in January 2020, Dr Alkoteesh has led an army of radiologists and radiographers in Abu Dhabi Eastern region to compact this hidden enemy. The Radiology team has performed and reported more than 20000 HR-CT Chest and 300 000 CXR on COVID 19 patients in addition to many Interventional Radiology procedures on those patients.

Home country Journey and International work experience Dr. Alkoteesh was born in Damascus/Syria, the eldest son of a family of 10 children, he took the challenge to study medicine in Arabic where he also attained his Master degree in Radiology and completed his basic radiology training in Damascus University hospitals.

In 1997 He pursued his higher education to undertake his subspeciality training in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, UK at All Wales higher training scheme, at which hospitals he then became working as consultant radiologist in West Wales, UK.

His employment journey went through many well-recognized international hospitals: Prince Philip hospital in Wales; West Wales General Hospital, Cork University Hospital in Ireland and King Fahad National Guard Hospital (KAMC) in Riyadh; KSA, Sheikh Khalifa Medical city SKMC-Cleveland , Al Ain Hospital and Tawam Hospital in the UAE.

Education and Training: Dr. Sharina is board certified in internal medicine and Respiratory medicine. Dr. Sharina completed interstitial lung disease fellowship program at Queen's University and research training at Harvard Medical school. She obtained master in Quality and Safety in Healthcare management at RCSI.

Expertise: Her clinical and scientific interest focuses on interstitial lung disease and published several researches.

Sultan Al Ameemi is a distinguished dental professional with extensive experience in oral surgery and healthcare management. Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee, Sultan has built a career that seamlessly integrates clinical expertise with leadership.

Currently serving in Abu Dhabi Police Medical Services, Sultan’s past roles include Head of the Dental Department at Abu Dhabi Police Medical Services and Oral Surgeon at Al Ain Dental Centre under SEHA. His commitment to healthcare excellence is evident in his ability to provide specialized care to diverse patient groups, combining technical skill with compassionate patient management.

Sultan’s professional credentials are further strengthened by certifications in advanced implant dentistry, cybersecurity implementation, and leadership and management from recognized institutions. He has also contributed internationally, completing clinical attachments in the NHS and engaging in charity dental work in Peru, showcasing his dedication to making a positive impact both locally and globally

Dr. Tawfiq Hen is a Consultant in General Pediatrics at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He has more than 25 years of experience in the medical field. He has a special interest in allergy and asthma. In addition, Dr. Hen is interested in children nutrition and mainly addresses children with feeding behavioral disorders and failure to thrive. His clinical experience is also focused on the management of children with Down syndrome.

Dr. Hen is an active member of the clinical teaching unit and in recognition of his contribution he was twice the recipient of the Best Teacher Award. Dr. Hen is the Vice President of the International Pediatric Summit IPS.

Dr. Yasmin Kottait

Dr. Yasmin is a pediatric dentist by morning and a gentle caring tooth fairy by night, her mission is: kids enjoying healthy happy smiles and loving the dentist. She feels she has conquered the world when she changes a child’s frown into a smile in her pediatric dental office.
Yasmin dedicated her dental career to toddlers, children and teens exclusively and her journey started 17 years ago.
Her education involved a Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry (dentistry for children) and three dental diplomas. Few years ago, she realized her children (aka her patients) needed more depth of understanding in psychology, that’s why she decided to go for cognitive based hypnotherapy diploma and became a “hypnodontist”- using hypnotherapy in dentistry.
Faced with the challenge of seeing 30% of her patients on the autism spectrum, she also decided to get extra certifications and becoming a dentist for children with autism.
Some parents realize she is a “unicorn” in the pediatric dentistry field and that she has magic child whispering super powers.

Dr Yasmin used her first EZ crown in 2015 and fell in love ever since. Crafting white smiles on little faces became her new hobby! In 2020, she became a Sprig U faculty and ever since she loves to create
If Dr Yasmin is not in the clinic, she is either volunteering for a cause for children, traveling the world, examining other dentists with the royal college, giving a lecture or a course about dentistry for children. If none of the above, you will find her auditioning with one of her children on tiktok as the dancing dentist or in one of the nurseries acting out her favorite children’s play (Mr Sad Tooth vs Ms Happy Tooth) .

Before joining, he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He served as Director for Rheumatology Rotation and Director of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Training for the Rheumatology Fellowship program. He was awarded "Best Doctors in Minnesota" three years in a row 2029-2021.He is the Director of Midwest MSK ultrasound courses in the U.S. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and MSK ultrasound.
