He practiced in Jordan until 2019 before relocating to Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since then, he has worked full-time at Dermazone and Laser Cosmetics Center, while performing pediatric dental procedures under general anesthesia at Mediclinic-Alain Hospital. Passionate about children’s oral health, he focuses on delivering compassionate care and beautiful smiles and educating families to promote oral health habits for their children. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and He initially joined the internal medicine residency program at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. He further specialized in endocrinology and diabetology through the French Board program at Lyon University Hospitals, where he also pursued dual clinical fellowships in automated insulin therapy and obesity medicine. Dr. Alnuaimi is a recognized expert in the management of type 1 diabetes, with hands-on experience in multiple insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, and closed-loop insulin delivery systems. He actively explores the integration of artificial intelligence in diabetes care to enhance patient outcomes. His approach to managing obesity as a major contributor to type 2 diabetes includes structured lifestyle intervention, use of GLP-1 analogues, and preparation for bariatric surgery when indicated. In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Alnuaimi holds a diploma in healthcare management from the University of Geneva, reinforcing his commitment to healthcare system advancement. He also provides expert care in thyroid and general hormonal disorders. Passionate about patient empowerment and technology-driven care, he aims to continuously improve chronic disease outcomes through personalized medicine and innovation. Consultant Physician Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi, UAE Dr. Bader Salem Alnuaimi Dr. Asma Al Jaberi is a consultant endocrinologist at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City and an adjunct assistant professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University. She graduated from CMHS at UAEU, completed her residency at Tawam Hospital, and achieved board certification in Internal Medicine from the Arab Board (ArBIM) in 2011. Dr. Al Jaberi pursued a fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, USA (2014-2017), where she also received specialized training in osteoporosis and bone metabolism and earned the Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD) certification. She holds the UK Subspecialty Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, as well as the European Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism (EBEEDM). Additionally, she completed a one-year fellowship in CKD-MBD. Dr. Al Jaberi is recognized for her innovative leadership and expertise in osteoporosis, bone metabolism, obesity, and lipid disorders. She has established specialized services, including the region’s first CKD-MBD multidisciplinary clinic, and developed clinical guidelines for managing osteoporosis in the Abu Dhabi Emirate. Her practice encompasses comprehensive care for complex endocrine disorders. She currently serves as the president of the Emirates Osteoporosis Society.
